TEXT: “And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.” 1 Chronicles 4:10.
Topic: BE READY TO FIGHT (PT 4)
God is ready to change every ugly experience of anyone who is prepared to fight for a change in the place of prayer. Your decision determines your destiny. Life is an adventure for those who dare to venture. You can’t enter into destiny with your mouth closed.
In the passage above, Jabez decided to change the ugly experience of his life back to his original destiny of being more honourable than his brethren in place of prayer and God granted it. His problem was his foundation, right from birth, the mother named him Jabez, saying, “Because I bare him with sorrow.” 1 Chronicles 4 :9. You can imagine how his life had been! Not only was he sorrowful, he was inflicting sorrow on all who associated with him. He was sorrow personified until he woke up and took his destiny in his hands turning unto God his Creator in the place of prayer.
Child of God, it doesn’t matter if that problem is foundational or a pattern in your lineage. Christ had redeemed you by his blood (Rev.5 :9). You are a new species not born of blood, nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God (John 1 :13). So no power whatsoever can hold you bound. If can pray, you will come out of that situation into your destiny. Arise and pray.
My Father, my Fighter, as I begin pray, I break out of every limitation of life into my destiny by the blood of Jesus
